Standard

AKRON is a strong, real-life drama that just happens to impact two young gay men.  Quality performances, quality direction… quality all round.  Perfectly paced script that breathes with the characters.  All about letting go and moving on.

Charming, relaxed paced journey with a clear underlying tension.  All very mid-west USA.

Opening titles and credits over a black screen with guitar music was a dull way to start, could have at least been an image of a field around Akron.
