The three “Anniversary” Specials that didn’t focus on, or fully embrace the opportunities available for celebrating the 60th Anniversary.

In short:

The Star Beast: A 70’s comic resurrected and drowned in unnecessary and excessive Woke Propaganda and a story with holes in it big enough to drive a Starship through.

Wild Blue Yonder: Kept secret for no reason other than to create great disappointment when it failed to yield the Multi-Doctor story we all expected. Self-indulgent navel gazing by RTD.

The Giggle: The return of the Toymaker setting up a backstory for the upcoming season. At least it was a decent episode, but the Bi-generation was too much change, too quickly.

At the last minute, RTD admitted that “they had not done enough” for the 60^th Anniversary and hastily came up with the idea of Tales Of The TARDIS…
